it was amazing

I finished the book days ago but just couldn’t do a review because I hadn’t come down from the “book high” yet. Like most Jane books it’s starts out with action when Jane answers the door and doesn’t really let up till the end. The last few books have lemd up to this point in the story and this battle and sometimes you get so anxious and there’s such a buildup for something like this that you get disappointed, this is not the case here. As usual Jane gets deeper and deeper into Vamp politics and violence all so she can protect her chosen family and this time it’s harder than ever. With betrayal around every corner Jane has to fight not just the enemy she knows but also ones that can’t be seen, and others that are in that basement. This book had so many emotions, love, excitement, anger, and it really passes it on to the reader. There were several times when I was so tense and worried about the outcome that my stomach actually hurt. There’s several twists, turns, and surprises, a real rollercoaster ride, and like Game of Thrones, nobody is safe. The cliffhangers (yes, cliffhangers, plural) will leave you dying for the next book just like it did me. I wish this series could go on for many more years, it never gets old and it always leaves me waiting on the next one. Oh, and of course there’s more Bruiser. I never forget Bruiser.
